About me
I don't know, yet, what I am going to do, but I do know the woman I want to become.
I want to strive to be a
Proverbs 31, woman.
A godly woman puts God FIRST.
A godly woman is. . .
- Faithful and has Fortitude
- Pure and Content
- Feminine and Graceful.
- Enthusiastic and has industry.
- Joyous and a good friend.
- Submitting and obedient.
A Godly woman is to be pure in mind, body and spirit is more precious than all the promises the world offers. A godly woman guards her heart against anything that would rob her of her purity and she is content to wait upon the Lord and trust the leadership of her (future)husband.
"A woman is concerned about the Lord's affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit." 1 Corinthians 7:34
"Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious." 1 Peter 3:3-4
"Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Proverbs 31:30
"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away."
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
